Staff Names Appearing Incorrectly in O365 Products

The issue has been investigated and we had a ticket raised with Microsoft support who had their engineers investigating the issue. We have worked with them to resolve.



Description:

An issue had been identified by the AMS IT Department where staff were seeing user names appearing incorrectly or reverting to previous position holder names. 


Example:

You search for a staff member using Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and the user's email address appears correctly but the name of the user is for someone who may have held that position previously.
